Hi! So lovely to meet you.
My name is Amela Duheric and I am the director of Nightingale Singing lessons on the Gold Coast.
Here is a bit of information about me so you're aware of my background, what I offer and how I can assist you in your singing journey.
I have been teaching voice professionally on the Gold Coast for over a decade teaching all ages (4-80), all levels and styles.
My credentials include a Master of Music Degree (Vocal Pedagogy) degree, a Bachelor of Popular Music degree and Certificate IV in Small Business.
I am also the Gold Coast representative for ANATS (Australian National Association of Teaching of Singing) and am a member of the ANATS committee.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with my students. As a singing teacher, I understand the delicate nature of the voice and tailor each lesson to the individual’s needs and learning abilities.
I am also aware of the emotional aspect of taking singing lessons and do my best to accomodate to ensure the student feels safe to express themselves and sing freely.
As well as teaching, I am an active singer-songwriter in South East Queensland. Over the past decade, I have been part of many bands, recording sessions and performances including Woodford Folk Festival, Telstra Road to Tamworth, Jungle Love Festival, Townsville Cultural Festival. Recently I was nominated for the Gold Coast Music Awards as Artist of the Year for my contribution to the industry on the Gold Coast.
